Decent for trading, some minor issues

I used Pocket Option recently for some binary options trading. The platform itself is quite good, with plenty of assets available. I particularly liked the social trading feature, it gave me some good ideas. My deposit bonus was applied correctly and the process was smooth. However, I did notice that the economic calendar wasn't always updated as quickly as I'd hoped, which meant I had to cross-reference with other sources sometimes. Overall, it's a solid choice, but that calendar could use a little more attention for real-time accuracy. Customer service was helpful when I had a question about a pending order, though.

Great platform, easy to use

I just tried the Pocket Option platform for the first time last week, mostly focusing on currency trading. It was really straightforward to get started, and I found the mobile app super convenient. I even used the demo account for a bit before putting in real money. The express trades were quick and responsive. Will definitely be using them again!

Consistent trading experience

I've been using Pocket Option for a few months now, and this recent experience with forex trading was just as solid as my previous ones. The platform is reliable, and I appreciate the range of technical indicators they offer. Withdrawals usually take a few days, which is consistent with what I've come to expect. It's why I keep coming back, frankly. Good for a regular trader.

Quick question on withdrawals, how long does it usually take to get your money out from Pocket Option? Is it pretty fast or should I expect to wait a bit?

C Chris Walsh 1 month ago
It really depends on the method you use. Crypto is usually super quick, like a few hours sometimes. Bank transfers can take a few days though.

I've had withdrawals hit my account in less than 24 hours with e-wallets. But yeah, if you're doing a bank wire, it's more like 3-5 business days.

How does Pocket Option compare to IQ Option? I've used IQ Option before but heard good things about Pocket Option and thinking of switching.

R Ryan 1 month ago
Pocket Option has more assets I think, and their social trading feature is pretty cool if you're into that. IQ Option feels a bit more polished interface-wise sometimes, but Pocket Option is solid.

I moved from IQ Option to Pocket Option mainly for the wider range of assets and the tournaments. IQ Option is decent, but Pocket Option feels like it has more features for active traders. Demo accounts are free on both, so try it out!

Got a promo code during a Black Friday sale but didn't use it. Can I still apply it now? Does it usually expire?

N Noor Q. 2 months ago
Black Friday codes usually have an expiry date, yeah. Most promo codes do, so it might be too late if it was for a specific event like that. You can try though, it'll tell you if it's invalid.

It probably expired already. Holiday specific codes are almost always time-limited. Best to use them when you get them, or check the terms for an expiry date if you still have them.

Anyone know if Pocket Option charges commissions on trades? Trying to figure out the total cost of using them.

R Ryan A. 1 month ago
Nope, they don't charge commissions on the trades themselves. Your profit is your profit, minus any spread or fees on deposits/withdrawals from your payment processor.

I haven't seen any commission fees for individual trades, which is nice. They make their money elsewhere, like spreads and possibly some withdrawal fees depending on the method.

Is the demo account on Pocket Option free? Or do you have to put money in first to access it?

M Mike Kim 2 months ago
Totally free. You can just sign up and jump right into the demo without depositing anything. It's a great way to practice.

Yeah, it's free. No strings attached, just register and you get virtual funds to play around with. Super helpful for beginners.

Is Pocket Option available in the US? Saw some good reviews but wanna make sure I can actually use it here before I dive in.

D Daisy Brooks 2 months ago
Yeah, it is. I'm in California and I use it no problem. Just make sure to check all the local regulations, some states might have weird rules.

Yep, it's available in the US. Just be aware of the KYC stuff, you'll need to verify your account eventually to withdraw.

So I got this 50% deposit bonus code, does that mean if I put in $100, I get $150 to trade with right away? And can I just pull out the bonus money later?

W Wendy Whitfield 2 months ago
You get the extra $50 to trade with, yes. But you can't just withdraw the bonus. You have to trade a certain amount first, like a turnover requirement, before it becomes withdrawable. Read the T&Cs.
4
D Dan 2 months ago
Nah, not exactly. The bonus is for trading, not free cash. You have to hit a specific trading volume before that bonus money is actually yours to withdraw. It's pretty standard for these platforms.

Hey, thinking about trying Pocket Option, anyone know if they have any no deposit bonuses running right now? Don't wanna put money in right away.

J Josh Okafor 1 month ago
Yeah, I think they do sometimes. You gotta keep an eye out, usually it's like a special promo or something when you sign up. Sometimes they send them in emails too.
1
M Mike C. 1 month ago
They have them, but they're not super common. Usually tied to referral programs or special events. Most of their bonuses are deposit-based, like the 50% match for new funds.
